VCI(volatile corrosion inhibitor) masterbatch is commonly used in plastic manufacturing to provide corrosion protection for metal components packaged or stored with the plastics. Our VCI masterbatch are based on chemicals with migration ability and vapor pressure to release the anti-corrosion molecules from the film and out in the environment air to protect the metal packed from corrosion. It is available in natural colour and desired film colour can be made by adding a colour masterbatch.
VCI is added in the packaging film during manufacturing in recommended dose, create a barrier layer and prevent the contact of air and moisture with metal surface.
